This is a project we are proud to have been part of. Working with designer Vicky Kieldsen on a beautiful home in Kent, we supplied our Beige Fan Marble Mosaic Tiles for the flooring, and the result speaks for itself.
The honed beige marble runs through the hallway in a repeating fan pattern, catching the light softly rather than glaring. Against the warm pink arch, cream cabinetry and mid-century furniture, the floor ties the whole scheme together: calm, natural and full of quiet detail.
Handcrafted, piece by piece
Every fan in this mosaic is assembled by hand. Our artisans cut each individual piece of marble, then place it onto the mesh one at a time, using techniques that have barely changed in generations. That patience shows in the finished floor: the fans align beautifully, yet no two pieces of stone share the same veining, so the surface has a depth that machine-made flooring cannot offer.
Honed marble suits floors particularly well. The matt finish is soft underfoot, forgiving of daily life and comfortable in both period and modern homes.
