Collection: Handmade Bejmat Tiles

Bejmat tiles are the rectangular cousins of zellige, handmade in Fez from the same natural clay. Artisans shape each brick shaped tile by hand, then glaze and fire it. The format lays beautifully in stacked, brick bond or herringbone patterns.

Unlike flat factory tiles, every bejmat surface undulates slightly and each glaze pools differently. This gives floors and walls a soft, lived in character. Bejmat is a popular choice for kitchen floors, hallways, bathrooms and splashbacks.
