When Hermès needed a striking finish for the outdoor seating area at its Bond Street store, the brief called for something handmade, characterful and durable enough for a London terrace. We supplied our Ruby Red zellige tiles and Pure White zellige tiles for the project.
The pairing works because of contrast. Deep ruby red sits against clean white, giving the seating area a bold rhythm that still feels calm beside the surrounding greenery. Because every zellige tile is cut and glazed by hand in Fez, the surface catches daylight unevenly, and that shimmer is what separates a handmade wall from a printed imitation.

Luxury retail demands materials with provenance. Zellige carries a thousand years of Moroccan craft in every square, and no two tiles ever match exactly. For a house built on craftsmanship, that authenticity matters more than uniformity.
